What a busy year it’s been for all of us here at St Patrick’s Green. We just received these photos from one of our prospective residents, and we love them! We're so excited that everything is coming together.
Everyone on site at St Patrick’s Green has been hard at work and everything is running on schedule, which is fantastic news. The team here at Greengate recently went on a site tour, and everyone agreed that you already can sense what living in Kogarah’s latest Retirement Village is going to be like. The O’Farrell building is already up to Level 6, and the views from up there are better than anything we could have hoped for. To the South, you can see down to Cronulla, and then out to the East you can see right across Botany Bay – it’s simply beautiful. Moving North, you can take in the entire Sydney skyline, so you know that you are still in the heart of things.
The Tanner building is coming along nicely. At the moment it looks quite bulky, but that’s only because of the scaffolding. Once it all comes down, everything is going to look much more sophisticated, and will feel more spacious. The Village Green will also help to make St Patrick’s Green feel more open. The Project Management team have had a great time selecting a variety of mature trees and plants to really make the most of the green space.
One thing the Greengate team really liked, was that a lot of thought has gone into the apartments facing the highway in The Moore Apartments. These apartments are raised so that the ground level is still sitting around two stories higher than the highway. As an extra means of reducing noise, the apartments along the highway have a winter garden balcony. These are balconies with double glazed glass windows around them, so that you can shut out the noise by closing the windows, but you still have the option to open them for fresh air.
